About Bighorn Lake
Bighorn Lake sits at 11,057 feet in the Kawuneeche Valley (West) area of Rocky Mountain National Park. Remote west-side alpine lake.
The hike from Timber Lake TH covers 5.5 miles one-way on a strenuous trail requiring good fitness and navigation. This lake sits on the west side of the Continental Divide.
