About Timber Lake
Timber Lake sits at 11,080 feet in the Kawuneeche Valley (West) area of Rocky Mountain National Park. West side; good sunset views.
The hike from Timber Lake TH covers 4.8 miles one-way on a strenuous trail requiring good fitness and navigation. This lake sits on the west side of the Continental Divide.
